Politically Correct

I am tired of having to be Politically correct in what I say and how I say it.
I am tired of looking around before I say something that “might be offensive”.

Lets just put it out in the open.
I am short –not vertically hallenged
I am fat — not over eater
I am loud, I am happy, I am Italian, I am glad to be who I am.
If that offends you — Too bad.

When a blind person can see

The sate of California is in a water shortage. We are being limited on when we can water our lawns, and forget washing off your pavemnet.
BUT as I bike around my streets I continually see water sprinklers on to a point that the runoff has covered the sidewalk and flowing into the street.
One place i bike across has two sprinklers that must NEVER hit the bushes or are broke. EVERY day there is a trail of puddles across the parking lot ( almost a full block) and noone has shut them off earlier. I found the spinklers in question by back tracking the puddles. I am blind. I can see the problem. It is always parking lots, or condo that the spinklers are on timers, or golf courses. Cant landlords, prop. management turn the sprinklers to five minutes instead of 15.
Why is it that Me a blind gal can see the problem, and find a solution that the sighted can not.

Health Care

the new thing on facebook is a “scripted” paragraph on health care. Asking why people can or cant, should or shouldnt have health care. Fact is Those who want good health care pay their premiums and have good health care. Those who dont pay have government paid health care and want better.
Pay for it……..

Spending on Spending on Spending

I run a household, It’s just me and my hubby and my dog, but I do not spend what I do not have.
If I can figure this out why is it that government people can’t. I have heard people complaining about the budgets we don’t have. Spending money that neither the state or federal governments have to spend, how tough is it……..

Which is worse

i planned on talking about the 160 million in bonus money, and venture into the morality over the legality part of it.
But then I hear that our President is here in Southern California for two \”town hall\” meetings and the Jay Leno show.
I wondered how much does it REALLY cost to fly him all over for Public relations, which is all this really is. Two planes, people, SS, etc, etc, ektc, What does the cost come to and where does that fit into the BUDGET.

What can We Do???

Now that I am on Facebook, I find that ther ARE alot of us out there. We are not sitting back and we are moving on. That makes me glad that people are listening and doing what we need to do.
My only questions is this. Lately, a lot of democrats, who want us to pay more taxes have all been in trouble for NOt paying their taxes………. Is it just me or is this like a big oxy0moron……
